WrestleMania 34:Day 2-Friday, April 6th

On Friday, we did a little sightseeing in The Big Easy.  This included checking out The Original French Market Coffee Stand, Café Du Monde, home of their famous, scrumptious beignets...Mmm!!!

Next, it was time to honor the 2018 Hall of Fame Class at the ceremony held inside the Smoothie King Center and hosted by Jerry "The King" Lawler.  The night was filled with some great speeches with Mark Henry and Jeff Jarrett's being very moving and emotional.  I personally enjoyed Jeff Jarrett's the most and of course the impromptu performance of "With My Baby Tonight" with "Road Dogg" Jesse James was awesome!

Very entertaining stuff from The Dudley Boyz and Mark Henry.  So cool seeing The Dudleys on stage alongside The Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian.  Molly Holly looks better than ever.  Wooo!!!  Special shout-out to Lord Alfred Hayes and Memphis Wrestling Legend, Sputnik Monroe for being inducted into the Legacy wing.

Wish we could have got a Kid Rock performance at some point during WrestleMania weekend, but I liked his speech.  I'm a Kid Rock fan and had the pleasure of seeing him in concert twice.

The Hall of Fame was a fun night as always, but it seemed to drag on and last forever.  By the time Goldberg was inducted there wasn't hardly anyone left in the seats.  Maybe WWE should look into an earlier start time.  Sure don't want them to limit speeches and have inductees on a timer like in the past, but maybe they can come up with something.
