WrestleMania 34:Day 2-Friday, April 6th

On Friday, we did a little sightseeing in The Big Easy.  This included checking out The Original French Market Coffee Stand, CafĂ© Du Monde, home of their famous, scrumptious beignets...Mmm!!!

Next, it was time to honor the 2018 Hall of Fame Class at the ceremony held inside the Smoothie King Center and hosted by Jerry "The King" Lawler.  The night was filled with some great speeches with Mark Henry and Jeff Jarrett's being very moving and emotional.  I personally enjoyed Jeff Jarrett's the most and of course the impromptu performance of "With My Baby Tonight" with "Road Dogg" Jesse James was awesome!

Very entertaining stuff from The Dudley Boyz and Mark Henry.  So cool seeing The Dudleys on stage alongside The Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian.  Molly Holly looks better than ever.  Wooo!!!  Special shout-out to Lord Alfred Hayes and Memphis Wrestling Legend, Sputnik Monroe for being inducted into the Legacy wing.

Wish we could have got a Kid Rock performance at some point during WrestleMania weekend, but I liked his speech.  I'm a Kid Rock fan and had the pleasure of seeing him in concert twice.

The Hall of Fame was a fun night as always, but it seemed to drag on and last forever.  By the time Goldberg was inducted there wasn't hardly anyone left in the seats.  Maybe WWE should look into an earlier start time.  Sure don't want them to limit speeches and have inductees on a timer like in the past, but maybe they can come up with something.

WrestleMania 34:Day 1-Thursday, April 5th

Greetings, WrestleManiacs!  Wanted to share some photos from last week's NOLA Wrestling Extravaganza!  We arrived in the Crescent City on Thursday and attended the first WrestleMania Axxess session later that evening.  This was a Good Call indeed because we were able to meet nine superstars since a lot of the WWE Universe were not in town yet.  I always say, if you're going to Mania you've got to experience Axxess.  It brings out the kid in everyone.

Fun Times @ Fanboy Expo Knoxville Comic Con

Captain's Log:  Over the weekend, I got to experience my first ever Comic Con at the Fanboy Expo in Knoxville.  Man, I had a blast!  If you enjoy wrestling, comics and television this was the place to be.  There was something for everybody as the iconic William Shatner was in the building as well as Billy Dee Williams, "Mini Me" Verne Troyer, "Superman" Dean Cain, "I Dream of Jeannie" Barbara Eden, "Mary Ann" from Gilligan's Island, Dawn Wells, "Flash Gordon" Sam J. Jones, Lea Thompson, Micky Dolenz from The Monkees and the stars from The Dukes of Hazzard!

As far as wrestlers that were in attendance:  Scott Hall and Kevin Nash were there as well as Jeff Hardy, Buff Bagwell, Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson, The Rock 'n' Roll Express, Chase Stevens, Angelina Love, Crazzy Steve, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and the 16X World Champion and 2X Hall of Famer "Nature Boy" Ric Flair.  Woooooo!!!

It was so awesome being there alongside my brother, Ricky as he met his hero

Ricky wasn't the only one "Stylin' and Profilin'" in a custom made robe

One highlight was seeing everyone that was dressed up in their favorite costume

Meeting Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat

Next was a real treat as I met the stunning and feisty New Yorker, GinaMarie Zimmerman, runner-up from Big Brother Season 15.  Total sweetheart.

Later on, while meeting Jeff Hardy, he saw my autograph picture from GinaMarie and this sparked a surprise Big Brother conversation with "The Charismatic Enigma".

Smiles and excitement everywhere.  It reminded me of my first WrestleMania experience, making me feel like a little kid again.  Can't beat the sheer joy that was present in Knoxville.  Just some Good Ol' Calls!!!
